An Event to Remember

I'm excited to be showing again at the Bats Day Black Market in Anaheim, CA this May. In preparation for the show, I've stopped taking on other exhibits, and instead have been focusing on making tiny creations that the customers at Bats Day can easily afford and travel around with. It's been wonderful challenging myself these last few months with new ideas in small dimensions.

"The Cannibal that Got Caught"

This Time Every Year

January is when most people start thinking about what to get their loved ones for Valentine's day. This year, as usual, I've been creating original art cards for people to purchase. Giving something original feels more personal and thoughtful. I love purchasing work from other artists when holidays come around.

More will be listed under my Ebay profile throughout the month. I also take custom requests.

Hyaena Gallery's End of the Year Group Show

The end-of-the-year group show at Hyaena Gallery in Burbank is one of my favorite shows of the year. I have one piece prepped and ready for display! The show's theme "Images of despair, odd hope, and desolation" pretty accurately describe my entire body of work, so imagine how excited I was about participating.

Hyaena Gallery offers free snacks, drinks and no entry fees!

Cannibolic shirts and Etsy Re-launch

My Etsy shop has been re-opened with all new items. It will focus mainly on listing chests and masks. It also now carries the new Cannibolic shirts!

Tuesday, July 6, 2010

My solo show "Cannibolic" is now open, with exhibit reception the night of the 10th. I wanted to make a show that resembled our self-destructive nature as well as our nature to devour those in our paths.

Born from my early ink works done in 2003, the work in "Cannibolic" has been building up momentum throughout the years.

The online preview is available for those who can't make it. The pieces can be viewed and purchased here

Society's Saviors

Our end of the year group show @ Hyaena Gallery was definitely one to remember. The artwork was amazing and there was a huge turnout. My piece sold before the show was even hung up, and sold to someone very dear to me; a fellow artist named Skip Crank.
